Candle Care & SafetyFor the first burn, set a timer and let your candle burn for 3–4 hours so the melt pool reaches the edges of the vessel.Always place your candle on a hard, non-porous, heat-safe surface. We recommend using one of our concrete trays or something similar.Always set a timer when burning a candle. It’s easy to forget they’re lit, and a timer helps prevent accidental over burning and reduces the risk of fire.Use this with your other safety points like: never leave a burning candle unattended, keep away from children, pets, and drafts, and trim your wick before each burn.
